How to Store Perilla Oil

  • Temperature! Cold-pressed oil dislikes high temperatures. Store it in a cool place or refrigerate.

A: Sediment forms over time due to the natural fiber of perilla seeds used in our oil, which are cold-pressed using minimal heat. Since we provide products in their natural state, without refining, bleaching, or deodorizing, trace elements in the oil settle as sediment, like those found in Mt. Jiri.

Q: Is it safe to consume sediment?
